Domaine Ceptura Rouge is one of the iconic wines of Davino, one of the benchmark producers of the Dealu Mare vineyard. Made in roughly equal proportions from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Feteasca Neagra, the wine combines international structure with Romanian varietal identity.
The three varieties are vinified separately using traditional maceration in small stainless-steel tanks at 22-26°C, followed by malolactic fermentation. Only the most valuable batches enter the final blend, whose proportions are established after repeated tastings over two to three months.
Domaine Ceptura Rouge matures in Romanian oak barrels and is subsequently aged for at least 12 months in bottle, allowing its structure, tannins and aromatic complexity to integrate before release.
