Rasova Sur Mer Cuvee Red is part of a collection created for those who constantly seek new horizons. This expressive red blend from Rasova brings together Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, fully ripened in the vineyards of Murfatlar in Dobrogea.
Each grape variety is hand-harvested at full maturity and vinified separately in order to preserve its individual character and aromatic expression. The wines are then aged for 12 months in oak barrels before being assembled into the final cuvee.
A further 6 months of bottle ageing brings additional refinement and integration. The result is a powerful and complex red wine in which ripe dark fruit, spice, chocolate and subtle oak notes are balanced by vibrant acidity and firm tannins.
Seductive aromas of blackcurrant and sour cherry are complemented by cranberry and pomegranate, with layers of chocolate, vanilla, aromatic herbs and subtle exotic spices.
Rich and intense, with wild berries, blackcurrant, pomegranate and blackberry intertwined with elegant notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. Mineral and herbal nuances add depth, while vibrant acidity and firm tannins provide energy, structure and length.
