The Aiud vineyards, located along the Mures River where the Transylvanian Plain meets the Apuseni Mountains, showcase centuries-old traditions of vine cultivation. The sunlit hills lend a unique character to the grapes, enhancing the finesse, freshness, and aromatic complexity of Aiud wines. This rich heritage is complemented by the presence of younger vines, infusing the wines with vibrant flavors and a modern edge.

Aiud’s focus on white grape varieties demonstrates its commitment to capturing the essence of the terroir. Among the notable varieties are Sauvignon Blanc, Feteasca Regala, Welschriesling, Muscat Ottonel, Gewurztraminer, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris. Each varietal contributes to the region’s diverse wine portfolio, reflecting the skill and passion of its winemakers.
