Located in the heart of Moldova’s Huși vineyard, Domeniile Averesti blends tradition with modern innovation to produce wines of exceptional character. With a history spanning centuries, the region’s cool climate, high-altitude vineyards, and mineral-rich soils create the perfect conditions for winemaking. At the core of Domeniile Averesti are two legendary Romanian grape varieties: Zghihara de Husi and Busuioaca de Bohotin. Zghihara, known for its crisp acidity and fresh, youthful profile, is an authentic Romanian white wine cherished for its lively character. Busuioaca de Bohotin, a rare aromatic variety, captivates with its elegance and rich floral notes, making it a true gem of Moldova’s terroir. Since 2010, Averesti has undergone a remarkable transformation, with extensive vineyard replanting, a state-of-the-art winery, and a dedicated team of expert winemakers. The estate now spans 650 hectares, including the largest Busuioaca de Bohotin plantation in Romania.
