Flamboyant is one of the emblematic wines of Davino and a benchmark expression of the Dealu Mare vineyard. Built around Cabernet Sauvignon and complemented by Merlot and Feteasca Neagra, the wine combines power, elegance and the distinctive character of some of Davino's most valuable vineyard parcels.
The grapes are selectively harvested from mature vines averaging approximately 37 to 40 years of age. Only the finest lots are selected for the final blend, composed of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot and 10% Feteasca Neagra.
Flamboyant is matured entirely in Romanian oak barrels for 18 months. The most valuable barrels are selected for the final assemblage, resulting in a complex, structured and long-lived red wine that reflects both the character of Dealu Mare and Davino's precise approach to winemaking.
