Beciul Domnesc Winery
Beciul Domnesc is one of Romania’s most respected and long-standing wine producers, founded in 1949 and rooted in centuries of tradition. The winery manages over 1,400 hectares of noble vineyards located in the famed wine regions of Cotesti, Odobesti, Panciu, and Husi. At the heart of the estate lies a national treasure—The Royal Cellar (Beciul Domnesc Monument), an underground cellar dating back to the reign of Stephen the Great. Today, it houses over 100,000 bottles and is officially recognized as part of Romania’s cultural heritage. The estate produces a wide range of wines across all styles—dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, and sweet—crafted from both indigenous and international grape varieties. . In addition to fine wines, Beciul Domnesc is also renowned for its premium vinars (Romanian brandy)—a spirit matured in oak barrels, crafted with the same care and depth that defines the winery’s heritage. Rich, refined, and deeply Romanian, their vinars pays tribute to the art of distillation and the passage of time.
