The cultivation of Feteasca Neagra extends over more than 3,300 hectares across Romania. Esteemed wine critic Jancis Robinson extols its virtues, noting, "They are typically dry and full-bodied with intense, complex aromas of spices, both red and black fruits, especially ripe plums, and tannins that can become more velvety with age."
