Domeniile Averesti owns the largest Busuioaca de Bohotin vineyard in Romania, setting the benchmark for this distinctive variety. This dry expression showcases remarkable aromatic depth and elegance, crowned with a Gold Medal at the International Wine Contest Bucharest 2017.
To preserve its vibrant character, grapes are hand-harvested early in the morning at 195 g/l sugar content, ensuring freshness and aromatic intensity. The berries are gently destemmed without crushing, followed by a six-hour maceration at 10°C. After 24 hours of natural sedimentation, fermentation takes place in 2,000L tanks at 12°C for 18 days. The result is a lively, refined wine—best enjoyed as an aperitif at 8°C or paired with delicate dishes.
A delicate bouquet of rose petals and ripe white pears, complemented by subtle hints of fresh basil and soft floral undertones—inviting and expressive.
Elegant and fresh, with notes of pear, rose, basil, and musk; balanced acidity, silky texture, and a lingering, refined finish—an exceptional expression of Busuioaca de Bohotin Sec.
