The emergence of the rosé version of the Babeasca Neagra variety is a particularly delightful surprise. La Sapata Winery had already accustomed us to the rosé made from Merlot, even though there was a constant curiosity among fans of this producer for a rosé made from Babeasca Neagra. Winemaker Roberto di Fillippo had the desire to create this wine, but the unexpectedly high demand for the red wine made from Babeasca Neagra did not allow him to produce a rosé from this variety.
However, the time has finally come – the new plots of Babeasca Neagra have come into fruition, and today we can enjoy this fresh wine with elevated aromas and a fascinating aftertaste. You must definitely try the sparkling version of this wine as well, "Petiant Artisanal Babeasca Neagra Rosé".
