This grape variety, with origins in the prestigious vineyards of France, has found in Romania an exceptional haven for its full potential expression. Remarkably acclimatized, this variety showcases its qualities particularly in the southern and southeastern vineyard regions of Romania, where a blend of favorable climatic conditions fosters its development. Vineyards located in the Oltenia Hills (including the renowned Dragasani vineyard), the Muntenia Hills (highlighting the Dealu Mare area), and the picturesque territory of the Dobrogea, near the Black Sea, provide an ideal setting for cultivating Syrah.
