Nastase Winery
Nastase Winery is a family-owned estate founded in 1997, located in Halmeu, Satu Mare County, at the northernmost point in Romania where vineyards are cultivated. With 6 hectares of vineyards, the winery produces approximately 15,000 liters of wine annually. The volcanic soil imparts a strong mineral character to the wines, being among the few such soils in the country. Nastase Winery cultivates both international and indigenous grape varieties, including Feteasca Regala, Muscat Ottonel, Feteasca Neagra, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate offers a range of wines under labels such as Crama Nastase, Ariana, Ianis, and 9R, reflecting the unique character of the region.
