Domaine Ceptura Rouge is one of the iconic wines of the renowned producer from the Dealu Mare wine region. Made in roughly equal proportions from three red grape varieties—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Feteasca Neagra—Domaine Ceptura Rouge perfectly reflects both the terroir and the winemaker’s craftsmanship. The three varieties are vinified separately.

The vinification process follows a classic red method with traditional maceration in small stainless-steel tanks at 22–26°C. Malolactic fermentation is completed immediately after alcoholic fermentation. The blend represents the most valuable batches, with the share of each variety determined after 2–3 months of tastings through micro-samples.

The wine matures in Romanian oak barrels and is further aged for at least 12 months in the bottle.

Intense, complex, and persistent, with notes of black cherries, raisins, and green pepper, complemented by hints of chocolate and coffee.
